Class Structure in Every Subject
Diagnostic test done outside of the class
Session 1 – Explicit instruction on test format, content and test language common in the actual test. Learning plan tailored to the results of the test. Homework.
Reading: Command of Evidence. Words in Context. Information & Ideas. Author’s Craft and Structure.Synthesis
Writing & Language: Expression of Ideas. Standard English Conventions.
Math: Heart of Algebra. Problem Solving and Data Analysis. Passport to Advanced Math. Additional Topics in Math.
Session 2 – In-depth instruction on test-taking strategies. Homework.
Session 3 – Strategic review followed by timed practice tests. Homework.
Full-length practice test done outside of the class.
Session 4 – Post test review and strategies. Devise and create another learning plan.
Four consecutive weeks taught by licensed teachers who have in-depth knowledge of the developmental level of students. This course starts with short subject diagnostic test every 1st session followed by explicit focus lessons, timed practice tests for progress monitoring.
Fees: $580 per subject for 4 consecutive sessions.
