The Reading -Aspire has a time limit of 65 minutes. It has a total of 32 questions divided into the following categories:
- Key Ideas and Details
- Craft and Structure
- Integration of Knowledge and Ideas
Reading-Aspire is different from other tests since it has constructed responses which require the readers to write a short paragraph about the paired reading selections that are unfamiliar to middle school students.
We have developed our own materials that simulate the TJ Reading-Aspire test catered to middle school students. We will start teaching the techniques and strategies using middle school level passages and move on to 9th and 10th grade reading passages. This course will help your child prepare for TJ, AOS (PSAT), SSAT & ISEE entrance tests.
